On returning to the UK in 1979, he took his young family to visit Ashe Hall and share his memories.
"Many a fine day was spent scrumping in the Victorian orchard, where the fruit and nuts tasted so fine."
Mr Tooth left Ashe Hall to go to Sturgess Secondary Modern School.

"Does anyone remember Tommy the horse who came to Ashe Hall for rehabilitation after being mistreated? Some children rode him bare backed!

There are many others he can remember but not put a name to.
"He also still visits Derby regularly and would like to meet up with anyone who remembers him."
STORIES of school days at Ashe Hall took Nike Metcon 3 Colorways John Tooth back to his happy years at the school in the 1950s and prompted him to launch a search for fellow pupils.
In 1957, he began work as an apprentice electrician. It was a career that was to take him all over the world when he joined the Merchant Navy and became a second electrical officer.
"Then there was going to Anchor's sweet shop in Etwall village dressed in our maroon blazers, with berets for the girls and caps for the boys, lining up in twos and waiting to go in to spend our sixpences.
During his time at Ashe Hall, the teachers he remembers were Miss Piewell, Mr and Mrs Drummond, Miss Curtis, the headmistress, and Mr Wilkins the PE training instructor from the RAF. He remembers getting into trouble a lot with Mr Smith, the deputy head, but he enjoyed the stories he read out at assembly.
His daughter, Heather Gallagher, said: "My Dad now lives near Carlisle with his wife, Margaret. He still has family Nike Lebron Xiii Mulberry
He said: "I remember the slide outside at the back of the classrooms and the fun Brian Rowe and I had putting water on the slide to ice it up to make it go faster!

He would like to reminisce some more with any fellow pupils who remember him and would dearly like to have a reunion and tell more tales and memories of their time shared at Ashe Hall.
Catching up on copies of the Derby Telegraph Bygones pages from his home in Cumbria, John Tooth came across stories of his former school, Ashe Hall, at Etwall. Jane Goddard reports.
He also fondly remembers Nurse Kirk, who showed great kindness to him. He recalls that she married a man called Mr Sidetree.
